Join us in creating a better tomorrow, one delicious bite at a time.

Our Story

This project started in 2020, in light of the covid pandemic. Strict quarantine measures in our hometown Hong Kong forced me and my sister to stay at home, yet we found the copious amounts of free time a great opportunity to try and make a difference within the chaos the virus brought.

Through the Years:

2024 -

Wanting to help give younger kids in underprivileged communities access to brighter futures, we decided to support another underfunded local school in the Philippines — the San Buenaventura Elementary school. Knowing the overwhelming benefits of encouraging passion at an early age, we decided to focus this year's Angry Man project on a bigger goal, by raising $4500 USD funds to build a small 360 square feet science laboratory room for the school. We challenged ourselves and hit the goal.

2023 -

That summer, we focused on raising funds to donate to the Philippines General Hospital (PGH) Foundation which helps underprivileged families in the Philippines gain access to healthcare, and they also support research and development in medical technology. We wanted to support the PGH Medical Foundation due to our belief that we could make a bigger impact by supporting less popular charities, essentially “Giving Hope to Those Who have None”. We ended up donating over  $1500 USD to the hospital.

2022 -

Many local schools in the Philippines did not have much access to books materials that supported learning outside of school. Many rural areas don’t have the resources to create and maintain their libraries, leading to unintended discouragement of children who want to learn. We were able to raise $1800 USD, sending hundreds of English books in varies subjects and buying new bookshelves to Loacan Elementary School, Philippines. We also donated part of the fund to the Changing Young Lives Foundation in Hong Kong to build a better library there.

2021 -

The immediate threat of Covid was subsiding and medical protection supply shortages had eased. In light of Hong Kong’s success at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Angry Man Project shifted focus to support another organization in Hong Kong - the Changing Young Lives Foundation (CYLF). CYLF focuses on helping underprivileged children and youth by providing free outreach programs in education, talent development, and self-empowerment. We donated all our 2021 profits $1500 USD to young athletes who are members of CYLF. These athletes needed professional coaching and support but were not able to afford it themselves.

2020 -

The aim of the 2020 project was to donate quality face masks over to an underprivileged community in the Philippines, the Loacan Village, which has no access of face masks to provide Covid protection, including local doctors and nurses. We raised over $3000 USD and had 7500 masks sent over to the Philippines, including the fed ex cost. We also donated part of the fund to ICM- International Care Ministries Philippines for medical supplies.
